This exclusive exhibition of very rare and precious buddhistic statues and ritual artefacts is very special in many ways. The exhibits are not only kept in museums, but are also "doing their job". Most of them derive from Tibet, Nepal and India and are now either owned by Buddhist centers, or are part of private collections from Germany and Middle Europe. Regarding meditation, they fulfil certain functions. Many of the great Buddhist masters reached enlightenment by meditating on the enlightened aspects shown by the statues. The Buddha aspects are also said to be "wishfulfilling".
The number of samples has been enlarged by about 60 % (!) since the last "Space & Bliss"-exposition in Berlin. Many exhibits that were found recently now enrich the extensive display.
The opening of the exhibition on Dec 16 at 11 a.m. will be performed by Lama Ole Nydahl personally. He is the best-known Buddhist teacher of the Western world.
